Mixhell is Iggor Cavalera's hip-hop/electro project
Mixhell is the hip-hop/electro project of drummer Iggor Cavalera and his wife Laima Leyton Cavalera Conspiracy drummer teamed up with Joe Goddard of Hot Chip to create the track "Killer Whale." The music video was created by the São Paulo-based political collective Brechó Replay .
After many years away from home, Mixhell decided to return to Brazil and reconnect with the country. He spoke about Brechó Replay: “They are a collective of artists, stylists, and videomakers. Besides selling secondhand clothes, we trusted them to create the story and were amazed by the spontaneity of the result. It's honest, it shows the group in their environment, the city where Mixhell came from. And it's a lot of fun.”
