Max and Iggor Cavalera released last Tuesday, the 28th, a re-recording of "From The Past Comes The Storms", a track from Sepultura, Schizophrenia, released in 1987.
The song accompanies the release of another track from the album, "Escape To The Void," and follows the trend of re-recordings that the band with the brothers' surname has been doing, with Sepultura's first works, the EP Bestial Devastation and the album Morbid Visions, having been released last year.
The promotional material from Nuclear Blast Records (via Rádio Rock) states that the duo has given their old work a new look: "Cavalera has refined their dark, speed-influenced songs into something a little more mature, developed and technical."
The work once again highlights this trio that introduced the world to one of the greatest death/thrash bands of all time. The release is scheduled for June 21st.
