Guns N' Roses has once again stirred up Brazilian fans with increasingly strong rumors about the band's return to the country in 2025. Despite the absence of an official announcement, recent developments have reinforced this possibility. One of the most significant indications came with the confirmation of a show in El Salvador — the group's first in Central America since 2010 (via Igor Miranda ).
First show in Central America
During a performance by singer Carlos Vives , the production company StarTicket announced the event, as reported by the local newspaper La Prensa Gráfica . This inclusion of Central America in the itinerary suggests that South America may also be on the tour's plans .
So far, Guns N' Roses has only confirmed dates for the " Because What You Want and What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things" in countries in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, with shows running until July 31st. However, the following months remain free on the band's schedule, further fueling speculation.
Furthermore, at the end of 2024, the Corona Rock indicated that the band could land in Brazil between September and October. Soon after, the Slash Refnr fan club — known for accurately predicting details of previous tours — revealed that the group plans shows in cities such as Porto Alegre, Brasília, and São Paulo between October and November. None of these shows have been officially confirmed so far.
Slash focused on Guns N' Roses in 2025.
During an interview on the Loudwire Nights , Slash reinforced the possibility of an intense year with Guns N' Roses. According to him, 2024 is reserved for the Conspirators, but 2025 will be entirely dedicated to the main band . The guitarist stated: "I'm going to record a new album with the Conspirators and after that, 2025 will be all about Guns N' Roses."
Change of drummer
In addition to the possible dates, the band has also undergone recent changes. In March, Frank Ferrer announced his departure after 19 years as the group's drummer . Guns N' Roses thanked him for his contribution and recalled that he participated in memorable tours, including the reunion phase with Axl Rose , Slash, and Duff McKagan . Ferrer's last show took place on November 5, 2023, in Mexico.
Shortly after, the band announced Isaac Carpenter as their new drummer . Born in Tri-Cities, Washington, Carpenter founded Loudermilk (later Gosling ) and has worked with artists such as Duff McKagan's Loaded , Awolnation , A Perfect Circle , and Adam Lambert . In addition, he has a solid career as a studio musician for film soundtracks.
Given this scenario, Brazilian fans remain hopeful. With available dates, promises of full dedication in 2025, and renewed energy in the lineup, the chances of seeing Guns N' Roses in Brazil seem more real than ever.
