Gene Simmons supports Mike Tyson for hitting an airplane passenger

The KISS bassist agreed that Tyson “did nothing wrong” by assaulting an alleged fan who had bothered him

Last Thursday, the 21st, boxer Mike Tyson made headlines after assaulting an alleged fan with whom he had a disagreement on a plane, and Gene Simmons didn't let the incident go unnoticed.

A video, apparently taken by a friend of the passenger assaulted by Tyson, shows the boxer becoming irritated and punching him repeatedly after a series of behaviors that seemed to have bothered him. 

Gene Simmons didn't hesitate to take sides defending Mike Tyson on social media. The bassist and co-founder of KISS reposted a tweet from TMZ mentioning actor Jake Paul , who reportedly said that Mike Tyson "didn't do anything wrong because the guy deserved to get beaten up after being a nuisance." Simmons showed his support by writing: "I agree!"

Other celebrities also stood by Mike Tyson's side, such as Ice T and Rikki Rockett .
