Last Thursday, the 21st, boxer Mike Tyson made headlines after assaulting an alleged fan with whom he had a disagreement on a plane, and Gene Simmons didn't let the incident go unnoticed.

A video, apparently taken by a friend of the passenger assaulted by Tyson, shows the boxer becoming irritated and punching him repeatedly after a series of behaviors that seemed to have bothered him.

Gene Simmons didn't hesitate to take sides defending Mike Tyson on social media. The bassist and co-founder of KISS reposted a tweet from TMZ mentioning actor Jake Paul , who reportedly said that Mike Tyson "didn't do anything wrong because the guy deserved to get beaten up after being a nuisance." Simmons showed his support by writing: "I agree!"

Other celebrities also stood by Mike Tyson's side, such as Ice T and Rikki Rockett .
