It's always interesting to know the musical influences of musicians, and Slash revealed which metal bands have been part of his playlists.
The topic came up in an interview in early May for guitarist Ola Englund YouTube channel .
The metal bands that Slash has been listening to lately
During the conversation, Slash said that he's been listening to a lot of new albums from older bands, and that includes several rock bands.
AC/DC Power Up (2020) album Queens of the Stone Age 's most recent album , In Times New Roman Metallica 's latest album , 72 Seasons (2023), and also Megadeth The Sick, The Dying…and The Dead! (2022) .
Regarding bands, Slash highlighted Gojira and Dirty Honey , the latter of which, despite being a newer band, has an old-school style that he likes.
