The film will be released in April in San Francisco
The documentary Murder in the Front Row: The San Francisco Bay Area Thrash Metal Story has released a new trailer, a month before its premiere. Directed by Adam Dubin, the film features interviews with members of Metallica, Slayer, Testament, Anthrax, Exodus, Megadeth, and Death Angel , among others.
Inspired by a photo book of the same name released in 2012, the documentary tells the story of thrash metal and the bands that formed in the famous Bay Area of the United States.
Speaking about the film, Dubin said that he sought to highlight the importance that Kirk Hammett , guitarist of Metallica, had during his time with Exodus .
Murder in the Front Row: The San Francisco Bay Area Thrash Metal Story will be released on April 20th in San Francisco at a session that will include an after-party by Metal Allegiance at the Fillmore.
