The film will be released in April in San Francisco

The documentary Murder in the Front Row: The San Francisco Bay Area Thrash Metal Story has released a new trailer, a month before its premiere. Directed by Adam Dubin, the film features interviews with members of Metallica, Slayer, Testament, Anthrax, Exodus, Megadeth, and Death Angel , among others.

Inspired by a photo book of the same name released in 2012, the documentary tells the story of thrash metal and the bands that formed in the famous Bay Area of ​​the United States.

Speaking about the film, Dubin said that he sought to highlight the importance that Kirk Hammett , guitarist of Metallica, had during his time with Exodus .

Murder in the Front Row: The San Francisco Bay Area Thrash Metal Story will be released on April 20th in San Francisco at a session that will include an after-party by Metal Allegiance at the Fillmore.
