Doctor Robert Koblin requests that the lawsuit against him be dropped.

According to The Blast , the doctor of former lead singer Chris Cornell denied any connection to the singer's death. He said Cornell had been well warned about the dangers of the anti-anxiety medication he prescribed.

Dr. Robert Koblin has responded to the criminal lawsuit filed against him by the widow Vicky. In November, Vicky sued the doctor, accusing him of prescribing medication that eventually led to the singer's suicide.

Koblin said that Cornell was aware of the risks of taking the anxiety medication. He further stated that Cornell asked "not to be informed" of the risks and that the doctor did everything he could to help the singer.

Koblin requests that the process be abandoned.

In the lawsuit, Vicky claims that Koblin prescribed 940 doses of Lorezapam and Oxycodone to Cornell, and that he did not perform any tests to determine if her husband was in danger.
