Dee Snider , vocalist of Twisted Sister , commented on the band's return in 2024.
In an interview with The Metal Voice , the musician said ( via Blabbermouth ): “Well, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get together this election year to champion some important causes. We’re all on the same page – pretty much all of us are on the same page – and I can see us helping to fight the good fight.”
“Because this is a big election, and with things like women’s right to choose, that’s a big deal. That’s going to hurt the other side. I said ‘the other side’ because I’m not on that side, [the side of] Mr. Trump.”
In a 2021 interview with Wikimetal , guitarist Jay Jay French explained why the band hasn't released any more albums : “People think that just because you're a musician, you want to do this for the rest of your life and you don't want to do something new. And that doesn't work for me. I never liked going to the studio, I never liked that part,” he revealed.

Twisted Sister reunited for a performance in early 2023, their first since 2016, at the Metal Hall of Fame.
In addition to Snider and French, guitarist Eddie Ojeda , bassist Mark Mendoza , and Mike Portnoy also took to the stage.
