Being a multi-talented artist is considered normal for many artists these days, and Dee Snider of Twisted Sister has just expanded his brand by revealing that he has finished writing his first fiction book.
In an interview with the radio program Full Metal Jackie , the artist promoted his most recent release, the live album For the Love of Metal Live , and took the opportunity to share how his thirst for challenge and determination are still present in areas outside of music. “I recently had a reunion with the world of literature as I decided to write my first novel – I’ve written screenplays, I’ve written my memoirs… I know how to write. I sent a few pages to a literary agent and said, ‘Hey guys, give me some feedback,’ and he wrote, ‘Keep rocking.’”
“I know I’m a solid writer and again, here I am – I have to prove myself,” he continues. “So I dove in headfirst and wrote an amazing book. Now I know it’s going to be published and the first copy is going to that agent with a big ‘Go f*** yourself, thanks for the inspiration.’” We can’t wait to read Dee’s book… and find out if that agent received the artist’s kind message!
