"I was so amazed"
In an interview, Corey Taylor recounts that his 14-year-old son, Griffin Taylor, introduced him to the band Babymetal.
“I had never heard of them and he comes running up saying 'you need to hear this' and he was impressed. And I was like 'what the hell is this?'”.
The vocalist goes on to say that he is excited about his son's interest in music and comments on how this has a positive effect on their relationship. "I never had this with anyone who tried to raise me when I was younger. This is something really new for me and I love it."
Babymetal is a Japanese teen band with metal influences. Since last year, the group has performed with Rob Halford of Judas Priest and has opened for big names like Metallica, Guns N' Roses, and Korn.
