Babymetal has released the single “From Me To U”, a collaboration with singer Poppy, as a preview of their new album Metal Forth, scheduled for release on June 13th. The track blends Poppy's dark pop with the kawaii metal characteristic of the Japanese trio.

“I’ve been a Babymetal fan for years and I’m so happy this song is finally here! They inspire me so much. Enjoy 'From Me To U'!Poppy declared.

Babymetal added: “A kawaii metal song was born from the collaboration between Babymetal and Poppy! Check out Poppy's screams and Babymetal's dance in a Neo Tokyo! Kawaii spread over an intense sound! Kimi ni todoke!”

Signed to Capitol Records, Metal Forth celebrates the band's 15th anniversary with heavyweight guest appearances from Tom Morello, Spiritbox, Bloodywood , and Electric Callboy. In total, there are 10 tracks that blend innovation, heaviness, and the group's bold visual spirit.

The band also revealed a mega tour that will take them through Europe, North America, Japan, and Asia, with arena shows and special appearances by Black Veil Brides, Jinjer, Bambie Thug , and other names. The highlight will be the show at O2 Arena , marking Babymetal as the first Japanese group to headline a performance at the venue.

With the official addition of Momometal and a recent history of successful collaborations — including the hit “Ratatata” and the gold record for “Kingslayer” — Babymetal enters 2025 as one of the most relevant names in the global metal scene.
