The sculpture will be on display at the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle starting in August.

A statue honoring Chris Cornell will be erected next month. The monument was described by his widow, Vicky Cornell, as a gift to the “close-knit community that embraced him” and will be unveiled at the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle on August 29.

The sculpture will be made of bronze, life-size, and will be signed by Nick Marras. The announcement was made by Vicky last Friday, the 20th, the date on which Cornell would have turned 54. The musician, who committed suicide in May 2017, was one of the greatest icons in the history of grunge.
