Last Tuesday, the 21st, Vicky Cornell updated her social media accounts and those of her late husband, Chris Cornell Toni 's 17th birthday .
The videos feature a series of images of moments between Chris Cornell and his daughter at various stages of her life, and music is present in most of them. In one video, Cornell is shown playing guitar with a baby Toni in his lap, while in another, at age 12, Toni sings a cover of "Nothing Compares 2 U" alongside her father.
In her post, Vicky Cornell wrote: “Happy birthday to our beautiful girl. Daddy and I love you so much! We are so proud of the young woman you are becoming. You will always be my little girl… And my best friend. You helped lift me up and supported me and helped me these last 4 years.”
"Through all the pain, you have been my rock, my reason. The best daughter anyone could ask for, the sweetest human being, and the best big sister. I am amazed by your strength, resilience, compassion, and dedication. You have the biggest heart – we love you so much, my beautiful Toni."
