Another legendary item from a music icon could be yours: the guitar used specifically by Chris Cornell Soundgarden 's 1994 album , Superunknown , is being auctioned by Gotta Have Rock and Roll .
Candy Apple Red Fender Jazzmaster guitar was also used by Cornell in live performances of "My Wave" and "The Day I Tried To Live" during the band's 1993 and 1994 tours, and in the Live N' Loud for MTV in 1996.
According to producer Michael Beinhorn , the instrument is one of the best-sounding jazzmasters he has ever used, and now, priced between $175,000 and $250,000, it could find a new home and new chords.
