Sales proceeds go to humanitarian charity.
Vocalist Chris Cornell released his new song, "The Promise ," today, which is part of the film of the same name that premiered at the Toronto Film Festival.
The film stars Christian Bale and Oscar Isaac, and portrays a love triangle against the backdrop of the Armenian genocide.
The proceeds from digital sales of the track will be donated to the International Rescue Committee, an organization that assists victims of humanitarian crises worldwide.
