'No One Sings Like You Anymore': posthumous album of covers by Chris Cornell is released unexpectedly; listen now!

"For me, this album represents who my father was," says Christopher Cornell Jr.

Exciting surprise releases this Friday: Vicky, Toni and Christopher Cornell Jr. released, on behalf of Chris Cornell in partnership with UMe, the previously unreleased posthumous album of covers performed by the artist: No One Sings Like You Anymore is now available on all streaming platforms.

The collection of tracks, originally recorded by Chris in 2016, includes reinterpretations of John Lennon "Watching The Wheels," Prince Guns N' Roses' "Patience," and much more.

“This album is so special because it’s a complete work of art that Chris created from start to finish,” says Vicky. “His choice of covers provides a personal look at his favorite artists and the songs that touched him. He couldn’t wait to release this. This moment is bittersweet because he should be here doing this himself, but it’s with heavy hearts and happiness that we share this special album.”

“We can all use his voice to help heal and uplift each other this year, especially during the holiday season. I am so proud of him and this incredible album, which for me illustrates why he will always be loved, honored, and one of the greatest voices of our time,” says Vicky.

Toni complements her mother's statement, saying, “When my dad was making this album, it was so much fun. I remember waking up in the morning, having coffee with him, and going with him to the studio. We would have our piano lessons there, and Christopher would play video games with Brendan and my dad. We got to experience that with him, and we have so many incredible memories. I'm so happy to be sharing this album. We love you, Dad.”

Finally, Christopher didn't miss the chance to also pay tribute to his father and the album, “We had so much fun in the studio during that time, and on our days off, we would go to Tree People for walks. We also played hide-and-seek inside the Beverly Hills Hotel, and when security showed up, we found it so funny that my dad would run out the fire exits with us. For me, this album represents who my father was. I am very proud of him and his work. I hope you all love this album as much as I do.”

No One Sings Like You Anymore is available for pre-order in physical format and on vinyl, which will be available on March 19th.
