Chris Cornell covered one of his greatest idols: none other than John Lennon . And the chosen track? "Imagine," as you might expect.
Radio host Howard Stern , on his show, The Howard Stern Show , released the video of the moving tribute. Cornell said in the recording that Lennon was probably one of his favorite songwriters.
Furthermore, he affirmed Lennon's importance in his life, even mentioning that he considered the Englishman a father figure during his childhood, due to how much he listened to the singer's records as a child.
