The compilation album No One Sings Like You Anymore took its name from the lyrics of "Black Hole Sun." The project was recorded in 2016 and was the last album Chris Cornell completed before his death in May 2017. At the time, Chris Cornell joined producer/multi-instrumentalist Brendan O'Brien and recorded 10 tracks by big names in music. Among them, "Watching The Wheels" by John Lennon , "Get It While You Can" by Janis Joplin , and "Patience" by Guns N' Roses.
Recently, volume two of No One Sings Like You Anymore was confirmed. In an interview with The Rizzuto Show , Vicky Cornell broke the news: “There is a volume two. The thing about volume one, actually, that makes it special is that he [Chris] mastered it, sequenced it. It was all Chris from beginning to end. And the other one was mastered, not sequenced, volume two.” Listen to the first volume of the cover compilation on your preferred digital platform by clicking here or through the player at the end of this post.
