In 2008, Linkin Park toured Europe and the United States with the fifth edition of the Projekt Revolution festival, bringing together some of the biggest and not-so-famous rock bands of the time.
One of the attractions of the event was Chris Cornell, who was promoting his 2007 solo album, Carry On
Bennington joined Cornell on stage during his set to perform the iconic song “Hunger Strike” from Temple of the Dog , and then, to return the favor, Cornell joined Linkin Park on stage during the second verse of “Crawling” from the group’s incredible debut album, Hybrid Theory .
