Bad Religion - "From The Paranoid Style"

Bad Religion releases video for the song “Do The Paranoid Style”

The new track “Do The Paranoid Style” will be on the album Age Of Unreason.

In anticipation of their new album, Age Of Unreason , Bad Religion has revealed the new song “Do The Paranoid Style.” The track has a music video.

Age Of Unreason will arrive on May 3rd and will be the 17th album since the band's formation 40 years ago.

A press release explains that the track is inspired by historian Richard Hofstadter . He wrote the article “The Paranoid Style in American Politics.” The track compares “the contemporary right and its conspiracy theories to a dance craze.”

Guitarist Brett Gurewitz added: “When fringe groups blame dark forces for their own problems, it’s, at the very least, delusional. But when those in power do the same thing, it’s not delusion, it’s a method of delegitimizing the opposition. It’s a tool of authoritarianism.”

Along with the new song came a video that uses 20th-century propaganda imagery with images of people dancing. Watch it below:
