Babymetal released the single “Light And Darkness” last Thursday, the 23rd. The song is part of their new album , The Other One , which will be released on March 24th.
The news came with a video clip showing the performance of Babymetal Returns – The Other One . This show took place in Japan in January and marked the band's return to the stage after two years. The video can be watched at the end of this article.
Regarding “Light And Darkness,” the press release stated: “As light exists, so does darkness. And because darkness is present, there is also a world that shines. During the night, when light and darkness intersect, what we seek after being poisoned by darkness awaits a world full of strong love. When the door opens, is it hope or despair that awaits us? The song expresses the duality in everything, and the way things are perceived and interpreted differs depending on each person's point of view.”
Previously, Babymetal had already released the singles " Monochrome ", " Metal Kingdom ", and " Divine Attack - Shingeki - ".
Called Black Night and Clear Night , the group's next two shows will be on April 1st and 2nd, respectively, at Pia Arena MM. More information can be found on the official website .
