A top hat autographed by Slash MusiCares charity auction held by Julien's Auctions this Sunday, the 30th, in Beverly Hills, United States.

The item was sold for US$11,520, approximately R$61,000, with documentation proving its authenticity, as well as a photo of the Guns N' Roses signing the accessory with a silver pen.

The auction will donate all proceeds to help American musicians facing financial hardship. In addition to the top hat, the auction featured clothing and instruments donated by big names in music such as Keith Richards, Paul McCartney, Jeff Beck, and more.

Another highlight of the auction was a guitar autographed by James Hetfield , vocalist of Metallica , which sold for US$32,000, approximately R$170,000, a sale price US$25,000 higher than the auctioneers' estimate.

Finally, the auction also sold a notebook belonging to Chris Cornell for US$19,200 (approximately R$100,000) and a jacket worn by Scott Weiland , the late vocalist of Stone Temple Pilots , for US$4,480 (approximately R$23,000).
