ZZ Top performs their first show since Dusty Hill's death and introduces his replacement for the tour; check out the video.

Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top introduced the replacement and said, “Let’s have some fun tonight. Dusty gave the direction.”

Yesterday, July 30th, ZZ Top performed their first show, two days after the passing of Dusty Hill . The show took place at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater in Alabama.

Confirming Hill's expressed wish for the band to continue playing, ZZ Top brought in Elwood Francis as Dusty Hill's replacement for the tour. Francis has been the band's guitar tech for over 20 years.

Frontman Billy Gibbons introduced Elwood Francis and commented: “Whooooeee. We’re going to have some fun tonight. Dusty gave the direction for that to be the case.”
