ZZ Top has announced that they will release Goin' 50 , a compilation album to celebrate their 50-year career. The new release will feature 18 tracks in physical format and 50 in digital format.
Goin' 50 will feature songs from throughout the group's history, from their debut in 1969 to their most recent releases. This retrospective includes an arrangement of each of the 15 studio albums that guitarist Billy Gibbons, drummer Frank Beard , and bassist Dusty Hill recorded.
In addition, two bonus tracks were included: “Salt Lick” and “Miller Farm”, a single and b-side, respectively, which were recorded in 1969 by the original ZZ Top lineup.
