In a list of musical styles that blend successfully, you'd hardly think of rock and samba, right? Incredibly, the band Conduta Zero 92 managed to make this mix work in the track "Orixá".

Part of Wikimetal's discoveries on Groover , the song has become a fan favorite for the band and still has elements of rap in this bold and fearless musical melting pot of the group.

To achieve this result, the band brought in cavaquinho, tambourine, and pandeiro—instruments uncommon for rock bands—along with drums, bass, and guitar, on their debut album, called Aniquilação , from March 2020.

In the lyrics, Conduta Zero 92 addresses the "year of the sentence," referring to 2019, which was a year ruled by the orixá Ogum and, therefore, "marked by battles and conquests of those who act with strength and attitude, as well as a year where hypocrisies would be completely unmasked," as they explain.

Formed in 2017, the band from Manaus has alternative rock as its base, but explores various musical genres in its sound, ranging from metal, baião, skate punk and others, with the aim of creating its own original style in compositions about spirituality, social criticism, everyday stories and even science fiction. Currently, Conduta Zero 92 consists of Guilherme Lacruz (vocals), Rafael Pereira (guitar), Leonardo Ribeiro (bass) and Pedro Prestes (drums).
