Zakk Wylde participated in The Wikimetal Happy Hour Black Label Society 's new album , Doom Crew Inc., which will be released on November 26th. During the chat with the Wikimetal , the musician also commented on Black Sabbath.
Nando joked that Zakk Wylde has "a little" Black Sabbath influence in his songs, and especially in his riffs. "Yeah, I've heard of them, you know?" Zakk replied, laughing. He says that when people ask him where he gets inspiration for his riffs, he says he goes to Tony Iommi to create his own.
Zakk jokes that when he first heard We Sold Our Soul For Rock And Roll he was Catholic, and while listening to the album he became a Satanist, but then, when the album was coming to an end, he returned to Catholicism just to thank God for Black Sabbath.
