Guitarist to tour with Ozzy
In an interview with the Chicago Tribune, guitarist Zakk Wylde expressed interest in participating in Ozzy Osbourne's next studio album. Wylde was recently announced as the guitarist for the vocalist's upcoming tour.
Asked if he would participate in the next album in addition to the tour, Wylde replied: “My relationship with Ozzy and Mrs. O [Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy's wife and manager] is, if they call me and say 'Bring eggs and milk and clean up the dog's mess,' I'll do it. If Ozzy wants to make a new album, we'll do it. We haven't talked about an album yet. Basically, right now it's just the shows.”
Ozzy's touring band will also feature Rob "Blasko" Nicholson on bass, Tommy Clufetos on drums, and Adam Wakeman on keyboards. The tour begins on July 14th.
Ozzy's next solo album won the Wikimetal poll as the most anticipated album of 2017 .
