Ozzy Osbourne refuses to slow down. After the release of Ordinary Man (2020), the artist worked on new music during the isolation period and has an album packed with special guests on the way. Now, the goal is to take care of his health and return to the stage in 2022, confirms Zakk Wylde .

In an interview with Classic Rock , the guitarist explained his absence from the Prince of Darkness and spoke about future plans for the partnership. “I’m not on the new one either, it’s Ozzy and Andrew [Watt] again. I understand why I’m not in the studio,” he explained. “One day Ozzy came and told me he didn’t want to be the vocalist for Black Label Society . ‘You have your own band now, so invest in that’”.

Despite not being involved in recording Ozzy Osbourne's new album, Wylde is confirmed for the 2022 tour. "Ozz is recovering well, and then we'll be back on the road," he confirmed.

Osbourne's return to the stage was initially announced by Sharon , the musician's wife. "Ozzy's tour has been rescheduled. The UK tour [ No More Tours 2 ], he'll be back in 2022," she confirmed in 2020. "It's going to be great. I think it's going to be a really cool time when bands come back and it's going to be wonderful."

The first dates announced were for the tour alongside Judas Priest , which was rescheduled several times due to the musician's health problems and the start of the pandemic. The shows will begin in January 2022 in Germany and extend until March in the United Kingdom.
