Zakk Wylde talks about the music industry: "There are more options and more things to listen to."

Zakk Wylde is touring Europe with Ozzy Osbourne

In an interview with Metal-Heads.de Black Label Society vocalist and Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde spoke about the changes in the music industry:

“Industries and everything will change, technology, everything, so you just go with the changes. I mean, as far as I'm concerned, it won't affect me because I'll still love playing and I still love touring and we're doing our part. I'm blessed and grateful to be able to do what I do. It's definitely different from what it was in the past, but at the same time, it gives the artist more control so they can do what they want, you can be your own boss. But, yes, musicians will be musicians. I think if Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath debuted today, they would still be successful because they would still be touring and making the music they make.”

“I think there are more options and more things to listen to, but I still listen to the same music. I still love rock bands when they release something good. […] There are more things to explore and more things to do. Judas Priest released a successful album [' Firepower ']. Black Label Society's last album was number four on the Billboard charts, so I still think people love rock and I don't think there's anything wrong with that.”
