Slipknot's new masks have shaken the rock and metal world.
When Slipknot unveiled their new set of masks, the metal world was buzzing with comments. At the Sonic Temple Festival, Loudwire asked the musicians to react to the costumes from We Are Not Your Kind.
Leaving aside personal favorites and conceptual theories, the reactions were 100% positive. "They're really good-looking guys and they never take a bad picture," said Zakk Wylde before declaring Craig Jones as his favorite.
Regarding the scariest face, Sid Wilson was able to disturb the most famous musicians in the world. “The normal face… why is it the scariest?” asked Jesse Leachof Killswitch Engage. “The most human is the scariest. That’s the strangest.” Sam Carterof Architects, Winston McCallof Parkway Drive, and Caleb Shomoof Beartoothagreed with this sentiment.
In the end, each musician chose their favorite. The mysterious new percussionist received many votes, as did Jim Root with his redesigned mask. But who received the most votes?
