In an interview with Guitar World , Zakk Wylde spoke about the experience of not only repeating his long-standing partnership with Ozzy Osbourne on the musician's new album, but also about having had the chance to record alongside names like Eric Clapton , Jeff Beck , and Tony Iommi for the project.
When asked about the experience, Wylde gave more details about the album's recording process. “I was in shock when I found out this was going to happen, and even more shocked when I heard what they played,” he said. “They had already recorded their parts, so I ended up re-recording rhythmic tracks over what they had done in a kind of home studio. The result was incredible!”
Regarding Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck, Zakk Wylde said that their sound is always "tasty," which is why people continue to listen to them. "They are both incredible songwriters," he commented.
Another confirmed guest appearance on Ozzy Osbourne's new album is Chad Smith , who also shared more details about what to expect from the new record.
