Zakk Wylde, from Black Label Society, talks about which songs changed his life.

The guitarist is emphatic about his first choice: "It has to be Elton John."

During an appearance on the Fan First Podcast Ozzy 's guitarist , Zakk Wylde, Black Label Society 's new album, Doom Crew Inc.

When asked, "What are the five songs that changed your life?", Wylde replied, "It would have to be Elton John singing 'Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds', obviously."

“And I think Black Sabbath , any of their songs, but 'Sabbath Bloody Sabbath'. We all have connections to records from when we were kids, teenagers. At certain moments, it takes you back in time, to that moment when you first heard those songs,” he said.

In addition to those mentioned, Zakk Wylde mentioned "Diary of a Madman" and "Over the Mountain," both by Ozzy. 

“All my favorites are here. Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush , Mahavishnu Orchestra with John McLaughlin , Al DiMeola , Friday Night in San Francisco … I still listen to all of them today and I just have incredible memories with all of these artists.”
