Zakk Wylde reveals that Black Label Society recorded 30 songs for their new album.

The musician hinted that the successor to 'Grimmest Hits' should arrive later this year

Black Label Society has made considerable progress in the creation of their new album, the successor to Grimmest Hits (2018). A year after Zakk Wylde announced he would be writing new music for the band, the group already has over 30 songs and a release date planned.

Original plans to announce a tour later in 2020 were postponed, but the pandemic didn't hinder the creative process. “We’re in my Black Vatican studio right now, working on the new album,” the legendary guitarist told Entertainment One (via Blabbermouth ). “During COVID, obviously [we worked] on the set for None More Black and also recorded about 30 songs. That’s what we have.”

According to the musician, the album is already in its final stages and only needs a "final touch" before mastering. "So it will probably be released in November," he added.
