YUNGBLUD responded to the negative reaction from fans after posing for a photo with Till Lindemann , the vocalist of Rammstein , which was posted on social media.
Rammstein's frontman posted a photo on his Instagram alongside YUNGBLUD, taken in Perth during the musicians' time in Australia on their respective tours, saying: "It was a great pleasure to meet @yungblud in Perth. Have fun in Mumbai!".
However, the incident generated a negative reaction from fans of the young British musician due to past allegations involving Till Lindemann, who was accused of multiple sexual harassment charges, which were officially deemed "unfounded" and dismissed for lack of evidence.
Later, YUNGBLUD posted a message through his Instagram channel, stating that he was unaware of the accusations when he posed for the photo and assured that, if he had known, he would have avoided the picture [via Louder ].
“I had absolutely no idea. Obviously, at this point I'm meeting a lot of people every day without knowing exactly who they are or what they do. And I can guarantee that if I had known about any allegations, the story would have been completely different. You all know what I stand for, always. And I will stand for it even more in the future. I love you all.”
