YUNGBLUD franchise theme James Bond alongside the British band Oasis.

Months ago, rumors that Oasis were among the artists considered to compose a theme song for the new chapter of the film saga took over social media, and at the time, Noel Gallagher responded. “This James Bond thing? What, Oasis? No. But how about Oasis doing it? Absolutely. Of course. It would be an absolute honor, and I think this kind of thing should be done by British people, not Americans,” he said.

In turn, Liam Gallagher also commented on the rumors about the James Bond film, responding to a post on X : "It's going to happen, wait until you hear it, it's the best James Bond song of all time."

YUNGBLUD expresses a desire to participate in the music

So, in an interview with Kerrang! magazine, YUNGBLUD said he would "love" to participate. "I'd be up for a collaboration on a James Bond song if Liam and Noel wanted me. For any British artist, a James Bond song is the goal. It's on the same level as headlining Glastonbury," said the young musician.

Finally, vocalist Liam Gallagher jokingly commented during interactions with fans on the X, stating that the song was already finished, saying: "It's done, all that's left is for Yungblud to finish the triangle solo," he wrote, before adding that Noel "has been teaching Yungblud the parts of the triangle solo."

Noel Gallagher has spoken for years about his interest in composing a theme song for James Bond. Initially, in 2008, he told NME that he had already "written some theme songs for Bond". In 2015, he stated that he would record the song "without hesitation" and, in 2016, he reiterated that he would accept the invitation.

In 2017, Paul Weller revealed that the two had written "half" of a possible song. Shortly after, in 2019, Liam Gallagher also expressed interest, saying that the producers could "call us, why not?", and also stating that he met with Barbara Broccoli in 2017 for initial talks.
