With over 40 years in the business and an impressive 21 solo studio albums, Swedish guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen is preparing to release his new album Parabellum , which arrives on July 24th.

Following the lead single “ Wolves At The Door ”, Yngwie now presents the world with the new song “Relentless Fury”, which arrives with almost 6 minutes of pure heaviness and power.

“This is 'Relentless Fury',” the guitarist introduced. “It’s a good example of how you can take a simple groove and melody and take them to a whole new world with different harmonies, instrumentation, and vocals. I hope you enjoy it.”

Regarding his new album, Parabellum (“Prepare for War” in Latin), Yngwie shared that one of the things that helped him the most was the time away from the road due to the pandemic (via Blabbermouth ). “It meant I could spend a lot more time in the studio writing and recording,” he says. “Since I’m normally on tour, which is great, I haven’t had the luxury of spending much time working on new music for over 20 years. But suddenly I had no pressure in that regard, and I feel that, as a result, the album benefited enormously from that.”
