Yellowcard released the single “Take What You Want” accompanied by a music video featuring footage captured during the band's recent tours in Japan, Australia, and Europe.

“Take What You Want” is the third new track from the highly anticipated studio album Better Days , which will be released worldwide on October 10th. The single follows the release of the first two songs, “Better Days” and “honestly i”, which have already accumulated over 4 million streams.

The highly anticipated new album is produced and co-produced by Travis Barker , who also plays drums on all tracks. Better Days continues its ascent on the Mediabase Alternative chart, currently occupying the 13th position.

Lead singer Ryan Key commented on the track:

“The new track 'Take What You Want' truly captures the incredible energy of those sessions with Travis Barker's production. The drums immediately grab your attention, and the melodies are so focused and memorable.”.

The band agreed that there was no point in recording a new album unless it was the best of their career. They refused to rush the process and, for the first time, allowed themselves to ask for help. Ryan Mendez invited his longtime friend Nick Long to the songwriting sessions. Later, it was through Long that Barker joined the project, taking on the drums and producing the album.

“I started the album being a version of myself and came out the other side transformed,” says Ryan Key, who credits Barker with a significant impact on his personal and creative growth in the studio. “I went in knowing I needed help. I came out writing as if I were 19 again.”

Yellowcard in Brazil

Yellowcard's return to Brazilian stages marks one of the most anticipated moments of this new phase for the band. In August, the group will arrive in the country for a series of performances: on the 23rd in Curitiba, at the Couto Pereira Stadium; on the 27th in Rio de Janeiro, at the Jeunesse Arena; and in São Paulo, with two dates — a performance at Tokio Marine Hall on the 29th and another at Allianz Parque on the 30th.

The shows promise to bring together fans of all generations to celebrate not only the classics that marked an era, but also the new songs from Better Days , reaffirming Yellowcard as one of the most beloved names in alt-rock worldwide.

Sales are being conducted through the Eventim .
