David Bowie fans will finally get an official event to celebrate the singer's life and legacy. The first worldwide convention dedicated to the artist will take place in Liverpool, England, in 2022. This information comes from NME .
The series of events will take place between June 17th and 19th of next year and aims to attract audiences from all over the world to celebrate the anniversary of the album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars .
Organized by the fanzine David Bowie Glamour and the producers of the Sound City , the program will include panels, presentations by collaborators and affiliates of the Chameleon of Rock , from Carlos Alomar, Robin Clark, Gail Ann Dorsey to Donny McCaslin , as well as a "Bowie Ball" to close the celebrations.
