While Metallica was nearing the end of their show in Curitiba on Saturday night, May 7th, Joice Figueiró received her Mother's Day gift 45 minutes early: Her baby, Luan Figueiró , was born to the sound of "Enter Sandman," at exactly 11:15 PM at the Couto Pereira stadium.
“During the two opening bands, Ego Kill Talent and Greta Van Fleet , I was fine. But when Metallica started, the contractions began, very quickly. When there were about three songs left, Jaime called the fire department. On the way to the infirmary, my water broke. When the doctor said they were going to take me by ambulance, it was too late. He was born right there, at Couto Pereira,” Joice wrote on her Instagram.
In the post, Joice also commented that in the queue to get in, many people joked that the baby was going to be born in the middle of the show:
"I bought this ticket three years ago, when I wasn't even pregnant, and I never imagined something like this could happen," the tattoo artist commented, visibly emotional.
The fire brigade team that assisted the family captured the moment with a photo alongside the mother and son. And right below, a close-up of little Luan, the newest Headbanger:

Joice and Luan were taken to the Santa Brígida Hospital and Maternity Center.
