Last Wednesday, the 20th, Wolfgang Van Halen twisted his ankle after stepping awkwardly while getting off his tour bus. Despite needing to wear a brace, the musician is fine and will continue with his tour schedule as Mammoth WVH .
Through his Twitter account , Wolfgang posted a photo of his leg in a brace and explained what happened: “I ate shit getting off the bus this morning and twisted my f***ing ankle. Now I have to wear this boot for 4 to 6 weeks. Looks like it’s going to get some show experience. See you tonight, Huntsville.”
In another tweet, Wolfgang Van Halen referenced when Dave Grohl broke his leg and continued touring sitting on a giant throne inspired by Game of Thrones . “Okay, the soundcheck was interesting. Looks like tonight’s gonna be Dave Grohl style, folks. Bear with me haha,” Wolfgang wrote.
The artist didn't have a throne for his show in Huntsville, but had to perform sitting on a drum stool. Check out the images:
