In an interview with SiriusXM last Monday, the 14th, Wolfgang Van Halen spoke again about the possibility of organizing a tribute concert to his father, Eddie Van Halen (via Blabbermouth ).
“I definitely think that would be a great thing to do,” Wolfgang said. “It’s not in the immediate plans because there are a lot of things that need to be rearranged to make it happen. But I definitely think it should happen. Absolutely.”
Wolfgang concluded by saying that he has no idea how the show would be structured, but that the focus should be on Eddie as a person. “All I know is that the focus should be 100% on my father. Even if it could be a celebration of Van Halen and the band's history, I think, above all, it should be focused on him… It's a huge task and something grand to figure out, but I think it should happen at some point,” he emphasized.
