Wolfgang Van Halen releases third single from album 'Mammoth II'; listen to “Take A Bow”

The second album from the Mammoth WVH project will be released in August.

Wolfgang Van Halen released "Take A Bow" last Tuesday, the 27th, a new single from his solo project Mammoth WVH . The track is part of the album Mammoth II , which will be released on August 4th via BMG .

“This was the last song we finished. It’s officially the longest song I’ve ever released, and I feel the guitar solo is really special,” revealed the son of the late Eddie Van Halen in a statement released to the press (via Igor Miranda ). “I played the solo on my dad’s original Frankenstein guitar and using his original Marshall amp. It’s exactly what he used on the early Van Halen . I’m happy to capture a little bit of my dad’s history in this song forever.”

Previously, the artist released the singles " Another Celebration at the End of the World " and " Like A Pastime ".

Mammoth II, which follows Mammoth WVH (2021), was produced by Michael “Elvis” Baskette and recorded at Studio 5150. Wolfgang Van Halen, however, was responsible for all instruments, vocals, and compositions on the album.
