Wolfgang Van Halen releases two new songs; listen to “Don't Back Down” and “Think It Over”

Both will be featured on the debut album 'MAMMOTH WVH'

This Friday, the 26th, Wolfgang Van Halen released two new songs under his solo project MAMMOTH WVH. “Don't Back Down” and “Think It Over” will be on his self-titled debut album, which is scheduled to be released on June 11th via Explorer1 Music Group/EX1 Records . Wolfgang wrote all the songs on the album and played all the instrumentation himself.

The name MAMMOTH WVH is a tribute to his father Eddie Van Halen , which was called MAMMOTH David Lee Roth joined in 1974. Wolfgang's first single was the song "Distance," a posthumous tribute to his father. The song wasn't originally intended for MAMMOTH WVH's first album, but the public reaction was overwhelming, propelling the track to number one on the MediaBase and Active Rock Radio's BDS charts. All proceeds from the single are being donated to the Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation.

“Thank you to everyone who helped me achieve my first Number 1. I wish Dad were here to see it,” said Wolfgang. His debut album will have 14 tracks. Check out the tracklist and listen to the new singles “Think It Over” and “Don’t Back Down,” which has an official music video.
