Within Temptation will release a documentary on May 6th that promises to show details of the group's visit to Ukraine. Within Temptation: The Invisible Force will be released exclusively on the band's YouTube channel.

The production follows vocalist Sharon Den Adel and her husband, guitarist Robert Westerholt, to the country amidst the conflicts with Russia.

The official synopsis [via Blabbermouth ] says that Den Adel “travels to Kiev to meet fans and offer them hope during a performance in a war zone”.

“During her visit, she meets BLIND8 — a young Ukrainian band with a raw and powerful sound — and invites them to join the band's upcoming European tour. But participating in the tour proves to be a challenge: the members of BLIND8 may face mandatory military service, and leaving the country is uncertain.”

The message that Within Temptation intends to convey with their documentary is that war affects not only Ukrainians, but also the creative morale of artists across the globe.
