Within Temptation released the single "A Fool's Parade" alongside Ukrainian producer and vocalist Alex Yarmak.
The track will get a music video next week, filmed by the band on the streets of Kyiv, Ukraine, with Ukrainian director Indy Hait . The video will show vocalist Sharon Den Adel at important Ukrainian locations.
The single comes at a time when the band is focusing its music on more political and current themes, unlike what they had been doing with more personal songs. For example, "Wireless" and "We Go To War" examine the authoritarian aggression on display in Ukraine and other war zones.
All proceeds from the song will be donated to Music Saves UA for the duration of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
