Within Temptation released their seventh album, Resist, this Friday, the 1st.

The new series follows Hydra , released in 2014, and features special appearances by Jacoby Shaddix ( Papa Roach ), Anders Fridén ( In Flames ), and Jasper Steverlinck ( Arid ).

During an interview with Metal Hammer , vocalist Sharon Den Adel said that the album carries strong influences from modern music and that Resist represents the band's new approach to metal.
