Within Temptation released today (08), a new single , named “Entertain You”.
The powerful song addresses a topic that is, unfortunately, very common in society: actions that exploit and offend people for various reasons, be it sex, color, religion, culture, politics, economic status, nationality, among others. All of this is done cruelly to satisfy the needs of other individuals.
Regarding the single , vocalist Sharon Den Adel said, “Often we cannot and do not want to see the consequences of our desire to satisfy our personal needs. To justify or simply avoid the misery we inflict on others, we simply look the other way or start pointing fingers.”
“We should look in the mirror more often and start questioning our own beliefs: we should try to understand not only ourselves, but also, and most importantly, others and the world around us. It's not the easiest way, but it's certainly the one that takes us furthest in this individualistic society,” the singer concludes. She said it all!
Within Temptation is preparing to embark on a historic tour with none other than Evanescence . The tour is scheduled to begin in September of this year and will cover eight European countries, with over 150,000 tickets already sold!
