Resist is the seventh album by Within Temptation.
Four years after the release of their last album , Hydra, the Dutch band Within Temptation is back.
“The Reckoning” features Papa Roach vocalist Jacoby Shaddix. The song is part of the album Resist , which will be released on December 14th by Spinefarm Records and is the band's seventh album.
Vocalist Sharon Den Adel spoke about the album: “ Resist is a true milestone for us. If it weren't for this album, Within Temptation wouldn't be here anymore. With it, we drew inspiration from modern music and gave it a very dark twist […] Our main goal was to collect pieces of sounds that we liked and then intensify everything we could, resulting in a new musical world that is heavier, dirtier, and more futuristic than anything we've ever created before. Resist is our new approach to metal; our way of breathing new life into the rebellion of modern music.”
